Hi everyone, I found a good entry on Christ's transformation in one of my Bible's which I will share with you. I like the analogy about the thorns. ( Corinthians 5:17) states "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." I have attached the article which you can read yourself. You can have an inner transformation from Jesus and we need to be guided by our hearts which (Matthew 15:8) states we should do. Christ transforms us today through the workings of the Holy Spirit.
We are called to humble dependence and meditation upon the Spirit. Transformation is rarely immediate. Spiritual journey is not primarily about climbing towards God, but consenting to be spiritually formed and transformed by God. The spirit moves quietly, often imperceptibly, reshaping us beneath the surface.
In our fear and in our clouds Jesus is with us and transforming us even if we can’t quite make out where he is or he is saying get up and do not be afraid. All of us are on a journey of one sort or another. And life for all of us moves through stages and through unexpected trials and uncertainties.
