Hi everyone, as human beings we have a duty to be care takers of the world. God gave us the world to look after. At times as a world we have collectively neglected to take care of the world. Some initative is being done today by some people to try and turn this around, but we are still a way off.
Some allergies and diseases have come about like asthma from us failing to take proper care of the world.
I am glad that we are starting to see some subtle changes in how the world is being taken care of. Me, I do some things to sustain nature and animals which is the best I can do. I sponsor some wildlife and tend to some gardens and also like visiting parks and gardens and filming them and uploading the footage to Youtube for others to benefit from also. I have a blog post on my Youtube pages which you can find on this blog.
A story, right where by I live is a Cherry Blossom tree. I take care of it at times like it is my own tree. Watching when it may be too dry and give it water. In 2024 it had a fungus infection and I called the local council who didn’t wish to treat it. I have observed this tree through the years where I have lived and its state seemed abnormal for it last year. I tended to it myself though the infection and I can report that it is now fully thriving again.
The Lord will return a second time, until then we need to take care of the world as best as we can. The book of Psalms speak of God being blessed and praised for providing and sustaining his creation with earth, but not of fixing our mistakes. There are though psalms which support praying to God to bountifully sustain his creation.
Psalm 96- Let the field be joyful, all that is therein: then shall all trees of the wood rejoice.
Psalm 98- Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and that dwell therein, Let the floods clap their hands together; let the hills be joyful together. Before the Lord:for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
May the rain continue to fall well, so no drought is on the earth.
