Hi everyone, Jesus told us to come to him through the narrow path or through the strait gate to get to him to receive salvation to eternal life. This path as we know isn't easy for us to stay on. We need to be on this path at the end of our lives or if we don't Jesus Christ said to us that he could say to us at the end that he didn't know you (Matthew 7: 21-23). We should remember as the Lord said to love God above all and to respect our neighbours as ourselves. We should also use the Commandments of God as a guide as well and and use the Beautitudes of Jesus Christ as a guide for living and just generally aim to do your best in life and be yourself and have Christ's true spirit in our hearts. If you have not found Jesus Christ-seek and find him and God usually gives you a moment when you hear him (Matthew 7:7) the New Testatment tells us to seek to find the Lord if we have not.
There are other paths such as the wide gate which we do not want to be on in life which do not lead to salvation. The Lord prepares us to get through and persevere to end of our journey on earth with our comforter-the Holy Spirit in life which he promised to equip us as Christians on our journey.
I imagined being on a lift/elevator on an elevator to life and going up and being met by Jesus Christ who shines light and who also is the light for us. This was an imagined event and not a true life event. I love Psalm 80 which is said to receive urgent redemption by Christ " The Cherumbims, shine forth. Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself."
In your journey I want to remind you of this. In Revelations 2 Jesus had a message for us that some of us had lost their first love and passion for the faith. I remind you here to hold onto this as it is critical to reaching your salavation "Don't forget their first love for the faith as there was people who done great things for the church-but they had lost their passion for the faith and Jesus asked them to nurture this.
You hit that lift to be met by Jesus Chris Shineforth. Let him walk with you
Looking up online after I wrote this post-I am not the only Christian who has written of Christ being on a lift/elevator to Heaven. I see that not a too different account has been written by the likes of the Saint Therese Lisieux.
