Holding on to Jesus Christ

 

Hi everyone, hold onto to Jesus Christ, imagine taking his hands and holding onto him with interlocking hands. Hold onto Jesus' hands and don't let go until the end. Psalm 30 says we can have moments of vulnerability and God had those as well, but he will keep holding onto you in all in all his personhood if you do honour in him your heart. we are not perfect and we can try and do our best  and continue to learn. (Psalm 30) "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life." 

 

The Lord prepares us to get through and persevere to end of our journey on earth with our comforter-the Holy Spirit in life which he promised to equip us as Christians on our journey and walk with him. Jesus said he would send those who believe in him after his resurrection the Holy Spirit (John 14:26). On our walk with Jesus as Christians there can be highs and lows, but the Holy Spirit is still there for us to the end of our lives if we keep our faith.
 

Jesus Christ will return again to us, when none of us exactly know for sure. We have to be ready though, two in a field and one will be taken Matthew (24:40). We have seen many sorrowful things and some things of tribulation in recent past. We have seen many before, think of the 1980s as well and we have come through. We have to try and take care of ourselves and others day to day till he returns if it be in our lifetime. We can pray for peace generally during this time, (Psalm 46) is a good Psalm to say. 

 

Jesus will come again and from the clouds and will be ready for the battle. He will be with his angels. He will come to judge the world and reign justice on the world. He will unlikely return as that 30 something year old he left and his spirit has long past this age now and has lived on post resurrection in the spirit. His hair in Revelations (1:14) is described as white like wool when he returns which highlights his divinity and to me his seniority now as well " His head and his hairs were white like wool as white as snow.I grew up with him as a father and to pass his age, and still though he is always my father despite this-he is though not as many perceive him now he is fully mature in years and older than all of us mortals now-he is more than capable of holding on to you and anchoring and shielding you. Jesus knows how to equip us through the Holy Spirit for the specific challenges of modern life as Christians (John 14 16-18) . 

In the New Testament Paul wrote this-Ephesians 6:12- "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We are equipped as Christians with the Holy Spirit to deal with these tribulations.

Trust in him, it is the only way to go.

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths."

Hold on and I wish you well. Let loose a little but hold on (2 Corinthians 5:17)." Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" There are no ransoms outstanding. You can have an inner transformation from Jesus and we need to be guided by our hearts which (Matthew 15:8) states we should do. 

He is our vine and we are to be on his stem and dependant on him for our salvation and life beyond (John 15). Depend and rest on him (Hebrews 4) to receive the promise of eternal life and he is the bridge that we need to achieve this.
