Meeting Adam McMillan-a Tough Talker Christian who overcame crime (Trudy Makepeace)

Hi everyone, let me share with you Adam McMillan who is a Tough talker who is also a true talker and an evangelist who has reformed from crime to a life of Christ.

Adam McMillan is a Christian who is today a evangelist and has been for three decades who used to be involved in crime and minimal drug use. He then had an experience when the spirit of God spoke to him which caused him to turn his life around and he gave his life to Christ and has been serving him since. Adam is a compassionate man who lives in London and is married with children and loves going to church. He also enjoys Bible study and teaching his children the way of the Lord by experience to. He is also a foster parent and is married to my sister.

Adam's story amazes me as it speaks of someone who really did turn their spots around, you know what they say about lepers, but it is not true at all. People can really become a new person in Christ who is the one who transforms you (2 Corinthians 5:17) " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!".

Adam was instrumental in leading the way in gathering a formidable team that did intercessory prayer for me when I was very unwell with anorexia. Adam would visit me with his Bible in hospital and pray for me with the fervour of the Holy Spirit and I could see the light of Christ in his face. "I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant." (Psalm 34).

Today Adam stands in the community proud and has many gifts of the Holy Spirit. He has not been involved in any crime for about three decades since becoming a Christian. He comforts me with his words of wisdom and those to who he does outreach work with in prisons he goes to talk to and he is a good role model. "Rember those who are in prison, as those you were in prison" (Hebrews 13, 13-18). Tough Talk go to areas that are deprived like prisons to try and reform people from a life of crime and bring them the Good News of Christ giving back to God to.

Adam said to me when I was unwell that one day I would share my story and indeed his prophecy has been fulfilled I will never forget what he did for me and know that Christ is with him and see him as being the founding figure in our family today.

Let's give our praise to God and may he continue to shine his blessings on the strong man of God Adam McMillan.

She does talks in church and has written a book and created a blog and reaches out to people who may relate to her past historical battle with addictions. She is now doing missionary work which she has been called to do. I first heard about her from a church that my brother in law attends. I do not attend this church.
