Happy Christmas to those of you who celebrate it. This year it will be a quiet Christmas for me. Last year I spent Christmas day at my church having lunch and had so much fun and it was indescribably funny. This year it will be a family get together and time out before at Hyde Park winter wonderland. It will be refreshing to take a jaunt in a park to and Hyde Park gardens is nearby to. The countdown begins. I will be to joining some church activities and getting lots of rest and enjoying the spiritual meaning of the event as we mark the birth of Christ.
At the Vatican this year we have a multiethnic Jesus Christ statue which looks Mexican or of African heritage. For those who prefer something more strictly raditional I am sure to that the original items exist and what does Jesus hold in his hand, I cannot make out the what the Baby Jesus is holding in his hand.
