Hello everyone, I thought that I would post on our spiritual journey like being on a boat to Christ.
In life as Christians we do our best to follow what Christ has taught in the Bible and we wish to see his promises of eternal life in New Earth or in Heaven with him. The Spirit will also confirm their witness to of us in the faith to him.
In life we are like on a boat to Christ through life on a sea of our own. There might be some steering and tight corners along this way We need to get to on that boat and be on the right path (Matthew 7: 21-23). as Christ has said to get to him to reach eternal life through him. We get on that boat to be with him.
My spirit sent me a vision of children who looked orphaned and from a war era. They looked like they were waiting to board a boat on a port. It was in black and white the vision and it was beautiful. I took it to mean that we are all children of God who believe in Jesus Christ and we need to be on that boat in life to reach him to receive eternal life. We to have an orphan relationship to God and need to be dependent on his Son's word for our salvation (Psalm 72) (Ephesians 1:5)- "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.” This was too about my life which is why it was sent to me, it meant that God was upholding me with a free spirit (Psalm 51) due to being a child of God who needed protection and I took it to mean that I should prepare well to on this ride to eternal life. This vision also meant to me, that my spirit loved children and supports the afflicted as does Jesus' mnistry. (Psalm 72) tells us that God supports the afflicted. Focus on Christ and reaching him. I hope that you will be on that boat to.
In the end times, the flood of Noah will be significant again as a sign for the cruelty we will encounter before the 2nd Coming of Christ. Till then it will be like being on a boat again as Noah was and this has significance for the end times (Matthew 24:37-39) "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be" (Luke 17:26-30).
